| Excursions into the Venetian hinterland: Historic cities, Ville Venete, Dolomites |

The Veneto is a region with the richest heritage in all of Italy and not just because of Venice, its capital: centers such as Padova of Donatello and Giotto, Vicenza of Andrea Palladio and Verona with its Arena and romantic memories of Romeo and Juliet, are all monuments or works of the finest art. But in addition to a hike in a big art city, there are many proposals that we can suggest to diversify a longer than average stay in our area: A trip to discover the Dolomites with their breathtaking mountain views, between a fashion conscious Cortina d'Ampezzo and small villages built in the midst of a majestic and bountiful nature; or a journey through the ancient and evocative Via del Vino; or a tour through the Riviera del Brenta on whose banks some of the most sumptuous Venetian villas were built - an interesting testimony of the desire of noble Venetian families to “evade the city” beginning from the first territorial expansions of the Republic to its end.
Notes: Tickets must be paid on the spot. If you so desire, lunch can be booked in a typical local restaurant.
